CANDY BAR CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE BITES

Brownies topped with chopped candy, smooth cream cheese and velvety whipped cream will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Preparation time: 25 min Baking time: 26 min
Yield: 64 brownie bites

Brownie Ingredients:
1 (19.9-ounce) package dark chocolate brownie mix
1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, melted
1/4 cup water
2 LAND O LAKES® All-Natural Eggs
4 (2-ounce) chocolate caramel cookie bars, chopped

Topping Ingredients:
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 (3-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Unsweetened cocoa, if desired

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil, extending foil over pan edges. Spray foil with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.

Combine all brownie ingredients except cookie bars in large bowl; mix well. Spread into prepared pan. Sprinkle with chopped candy bars. Bake for 26 to 28 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely.

Pour whipping cream into medium bowl; beat at high speed until stiff peaks form. Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla in another medium bowl; beat at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Add whipped cream; beat until well mixed. Spread mixture over cooled brownies; sprinkle with cocoa, if desired. Refrigerate until topping is set (1 hour).

Lift brownies out of pan, using foil ends. Cut into 32 squares by pressing straight down with large knife, wiping knife after each cut. Cut each brownie square diagonally into triangles. Store in refrigerator.

A little kitchen inspiration for you!!

I thought I'd show you a cute little project I did. It's kitchen related. A year ago I had my house remodeled. I had the kitchen completly gutted and rebuilt. Since then I've had this dilemma on how to decorate it. I want my decor to be unique and I'm bing very picky about it all. I've thought about decorating with the big ceramic roosters and then I've thought about the big ceramic Chefs that are so cute!!! I'm leaning towards a little of each. So anyway on to the main topic. Here is what I made for a small wall and the counter top next to my stove.

I'm getting some great submissions for the design team and wanted to let you know we will have a team by Monday the 28th. You still have until the 25th to submit so get those to me!!! We are still looking for 2 more designers!!

Hope your week is fabulous!!!

What is Creative Cookbooking???

First let me say "I LOVE TO COOK AND BAKE"! If cooking is one of your favorite things to do and scrapbooking is another you are in the right place for some fun!!!
One of my favorite cooks is Paula Dean and I also love the Taste of Home. I do alter my recipes a little to make them healthier but every now and again I have to have the real thing!!!

Creative cookbooking is scrapbooking your recipies! It's about sharing and creating your own personal cookbook. I have been doing this for awhile now and it's so much fun to look at a cookbook that consists of your favorite meals and foods. The best part about doing this is, every recipe in your book has been tried and tested by you!
The next best thing is you love every recipe in this cookbook!!!

Every week I will have a challenge posted and you can scrap/build a cookbook on these challenges. The first cookbook will be about soups, salads and breads. It will run through November and when you are done, you will have a great start on a cookbook that you can either give as a gift or keep for yourself! When your cookbook is finished you will have a title page, dedication page, table of contents, Hints and tips, menu pages, journaling page and cover page.
